St. Louis Dance Company Photoshoot | Resilience Dance Company

Resilience Dance Company is a young dance company based in St. Louis, founded and led by Emily Haussler. They’re a modern and contemporary company with a mission to put artists first. They are super involved in the community throughout St. Louis and are really leaving their mark! They put on several performances each season, as well as providing a space for dancers in the community to share their work, explore, and learn. They’ve got a lot of exciting things coming up that you won’t want to miss! Check out their website for updates here.

We had an incredibly productive session, shooting at Intersect Art Center’s beautiful studio in South City. We were able to capture images to promote RDC’s spring show “All Times At Once,” new company photos for their website and social media, coverage of class to showcase their strong weekly class lineup and upcoming workshops and intensive, individual company member shots, and dressed up photos for fundraising materials.

If you’re a dance company wanting to elevate your branding, showcase your dancers and mission, and stop cycling through the same 5 photos for your promotional materials from years past, take a look through RDC’s session gallery below to get some ideas for your next photoshoot! Emily, the director of RDC, and I sat down for a call to discuss all of their goals for the season and what elements would be most important to capture during their shoot. By having a call like this prior to your session, you can get clear on your intentions and make the most of your photos! I offer a pre-session call for all company sessions, along with a detailed questionnaire so ensure that we capture what’s most important to highlight for your group.
