Fall Alleyway Portrait Session | Emily Cline

Emily and I go way back. She was my “random roommate” freshman year of college at Southeast Missouri State University many moons ago. Turns out we were a great fit and stayed roommates and housemates all four years of college, still remaining friends into our adulthood.

Emily just got a new job doing what she loves: film and marketing. Needless to say, we had to celebrate with a fall photoshoot! We shot our session in the Maplewood neighborhood of St. Louis. It’s a cute little area filled with local boutiques, restaurants, and breweries. Some of my favorite neighborhood finds in Maplewood are
Cheryl’s Herbs, Side Project Brewing, Schlafly Bottleworks, Strange Donuts, and The Book House, to name a few. I look forward to exploring more St. Louis neighborhoods very soon!

We explored a bit of the downtown Maplewood area, and found ourselves loving on the historic brick alleyways. Some of the alleyways here just hit different than what I’m used to in Chicago, especially in Maplewood, St. Louis. You’ll just have to see for yourself in the photos!

Emily totally rocked her shoot. Her style is absolute fall fashion goals and we captured some great movement shots with her stunning burnt orange wrap and her hat! Enjoy some of my favorites from our shoot together!

Always wanted to have some fun empowering photos of you, but didn’t have a reason to get them done? Check out the blog post Reasons To Schedule A Photoshoot For Yourself!
