Colorful Springtime Engagement Session in Tower Grove Park | Maricella + Zach
Spring in St. Louis is such a beautiful, colorful, and fleeting season. The trees quickly change from muddy browns to a whole spectrum of green with all sorts of colors in bloom in a matter of weeks. I had a wonderful and colorful springtime engagement session in Tower Grove Park with Maricella and Zach with their dog, Ariel! These two are such a sweet and kind couple. They asked thoughtful questions and while planning their session were certain about capturing this colorful season.
Maricella and Zach met in high school and have been together for almost 11 years! They’ve had such an incredible journey that I was lucky to hear little glimpses of. From getting to know each other a bit over email, questionnaires, and our hour session together, I could really see how these two have such a solid foundation to their relationship and really know each other.
The day of Maricella and Zach’s engagement session, the weather was beautiful and the flowers were in full bloom. We met at the Palm House in Tower Grove Park and ventured our way through the north side of the park. We captured precious moments of the couple amongst a cluster of eastern redbuds, playful moments with their sweet pup, Ariel, and intimate shots of the two surrounded by a colorful tulip garden.
Above all, documenting these sweet moments of love during this exciting season of life is hands-down one of my favorite things. And working with a couple so in tune with each other and open to all guidance was a complete dream! Scroll down to see some of my favorite images from Maricella and Zach’s engagement session!
