Versatile Dance and Modeling Branding Session | Artemisia

When Artemisia first reached out to me, she was looking for to book a versatile session, to showcase her range for her modeling portfolio. She was interested in capturing movement, fashion, and details of clothing and costumes. She ended up booking a package where we would have plenty of time for her to change outfits, along with 3 locations, including an indoor studio as a portion of the session. We started at COCOS Studio in Benton Park to capture a variety of indoor shots with more delicate costume pieces and clothing articles, as well as utilize a colored backdrop and some props she brought along. We then drove downtown to an enclosed parking garage for the creative portion of her shoot, where Artemisia incorporated some movement, a couple different outfits, and a super cute prop (keep scrolling to see😉). The last stop in our extensive session was just down the street for some blue hour photos with some on camera flash. She did some more dance-centric movements and poses and utilized her flowy skirt and wonderfully detailed costume! Artemisia also told me that she was interested in getting into doing belly dancing professionally, so we were able to focus a portion of her session toward some images that would reflect that goal for her as well. I’d say we captured a wide realm of her dynamics that she can use for upcoming model calls and portfolio work for a while.
