Resilience Dance Company '22-23 Company Photos

If you’ve been around for a while here, I’m sure you already know how much I adore working with Resilience Dance Company here in St. Louis. By this point, we have worked together so frequently (from documenting their performances to photographing their yearly company promotional photos to my coffee meet ups with director Emily and taking their company classes), that I feel like I really understand the mission and drive behind RDC. Magic really happens when you work with a group more and more. I understand their movement and their goals and can more easily deliver them photos that represent who they are as a company. When I send out my performance questionnaire to Emily before documenting a dress rehearsal, she will still give me details but more often now she’ll state, “you know the drill.” There’s something great about knowing on both ends that you’ll be good to work with and provide an excellent product.

I will always recommend seeing RDC’s performances, as they are innovative, entertaining, and thought-provoking. Dancers in the St. Louis community should all check out their weekly open class schedule ($5 to take class, I mean come on!) And those who love the arts should support them and their mission to put artists first.
