Jewel Box in Forest Park Anniversary Photo Session | Autumn + Charlie

This anniversary portrait session was a gorgeous one! Summer in St. Louis spent at the Jewel Box in Forest Park is simply so magical. Autumn and Charlie were so wonderful to work with and from the moment they inquired with me, all the way through the end of their session, they were quick to respond, open to sharing with me about their lives together, and trusting of my process. Their anniversary session at The Jewel Box in Forest Park was certainly one straight out of a magazine!

The story that Autumn told me on our first contact informational phone call was the sweetest. She and Charlie moved from Memphis to St. Louis. Autumn is now a graduate student at Saint Louis University. The couple got engaged and had an intimate wedding during the pandemic in the summer of 2020. They were so focused on their love that they did not get engagement nor wedding photos taken. When they reached out to me, they wanted to celebrate their first year of marriage with a professional portrait session. Ideally, they wanted the session to be taken on their one year wedding anniversary. Luckily, I had an opening in the evening of their anniversary and was able to get them on the books. 

Let me tell you, this session was such a blast! We had the Jewel Box completely to ourselves at golden hour on a Friday evening in the summer. What luck! We were able to explore the Jewel Box grounds in Forest Park and capture Autumn and Charlie’s love and celebration of one year of marriage within the beautiful gardens there. We beat the huge rain storms by only about two hours, and you can see for yourself the joy and beauty of Autumn and Charlie’s love for each other.
