Look no further. Let this be your one stop shop for all things glamping bachelorette party!
Wait, what is glamping?
Glamping (glamorous camping) is a form of camping with more luxurious accommodations than what you would find with traditional camping. In recent years it has become trendy to glamp and is a fun and unique way to travel.
Okay so, glamping for a bachelorette party?
Yes, yes, YES! What a fun way to get the crew together, let your adventurous side loose, enjoy the great outdoors, and feel like you’re in a remote location without being too far away from humanity. Set a theme, book a glamp-site, and let the fun begin!
But Where to begin?
For starters, there are tons of places popping up left and right as glamping sites. But if you’re in the midwest, you NEED to check out Lost Hill Lake, an events and wedding venue with glamping options just an hour outside of St. Louis, Missouri! Lost Hill Lake is surrounded by woods and is located right on the Meramec River. They have some seriously adorable refurbished amenities and tons of retreat-style outdoor activities!
Some of Lost Hill Lake’s awesome amenities include:
access to lake and private hiking trails;
outdoor community kitchen (with electricity, a fridge, toaster, grill, and coffee station);
fire pits with pre-built fire and wood;
a dry barrel sauna
and much more!

Book your glampsite!
Gather the crew for an adventurous, outdoor party! Book your bachelorette in the insanely cool Blue Sky Bus, a fully renovated school bus that sleeps 5-6 people total! Inside, there is a queen sized bed, twin bunk beds, a full size couch, mini fridge, fold out bar table, and a rooftop hang out area! Or go all out and rent out the entire glampsite by booking the Ultimate Bachelorette Party package for 10-16 people.
DIY decor in theme or hire a local business
Want to go all out for theme and decoration for the bachelorette party? DIY is a solid way to go, but if coordinating, organizing, and actually DIY-ing decor yourself is overwhelming, hire a local business to help you out!

There’s nothing like a bachelorette party without some special goodies and surprises. Surprise the guests by having the goodies set up inside the bus before everyone unpacks and gets settled in to start the weekend off in an exciting way!
Let there be snacks!
Don’t forget to pack the snacks! Bring your own snacks like chips, popcorn, pretzels, and sweet treats. In the bachelorette party packages, s’mores kits are included! Can’t forget the beverage stock for the weekend as well! Make a grocery run for the weekend with all the food you will need for the trip.
Grocery run pro tips:
Gather the gang and come up with a meal plan for the weekend.
Create a grocery list
Divvy up the grocery list into a couple of groups
Gather the goods and pack them up into bags and coolers
Pack up the car(s)
Support local businesses and bring some sweet treats, catering, or charcuterie boards to snack on and feel extra glam. Try Spoil Me Sweetly for cookies and cakes and White Box Catering for charcuterie boards, snack boxes, and catering!

Don’t forget to schedule some down time
We love a good jam-packed weekend full of activities and fun, but it is just about equally as important to chill and hang. This is especially great for bachelorette parties where not everyone knows each other going into the weekend. With some scheduled down time, people are able to mingle and socialize on their own time and can connect with those they didn’t initially know before the start of the weekend.

Get a little campy
Glamping doesn’t mean you can’t still have a good ole bonfire! At Lost Hill Lake, the fire pits have pre-built fires that make it stress free to start that camp fire. Don’t forget, both bachelorette party packages include s’mores kits for all-a campfire must-have!
Activities for all
For the adventurous souls, pack those hiking boots and hop on one of the private hiking trails that Lost Hill Lake has to offer. One of their trails leads to a gorgeous viewpoint called Thinking Rock overlooking the Meramec River.
Take a stand up paddle board, or canoe for a spin around the 15 acre lake on site.
Relax and rejuvenate
Relax in the dry barrel sauna on site at Lost Hill Lake and open year-round! Add the glam into camping by taking outdoor yoga, have a sit in the sauna, get a tarot card reading, guided meditation, reiki or sound healing. Yoga class, self-care workshop, and tarot card reading options available for bachelorette party packages.
Game time
Gather around the campfire or up on the rooftop porch for bachelorette games and gifts!
Here are a few crowd-pleasing bachelorette games:
Ask The Groom
The Panty Game
How Well Do You Know The Bachelorette?
Drink If…
Wedding Vow Mad Libs
You can do a quick Google or Pinterest search for these games or go all out creative and create your own!
Don’t forget the group photo!
I’ve been there, having too much fun with the squad that we forget to take any group photos to remember the weekend. It’s always on the final day of the trip that someone remembers that no group photos were taken. Have someone set a reminder in their phone each day to get everyone together for a group photo, that way you at least have a couple from every day of your trip!
You also have the option to have a professional photographer capture some sweet moments of the weekend with Lost Hill Lake’s bachelorette party packages, so you can preserve those priceless moments in professionally taken photos!
Use this time to spend with your nearest and dearest friends before the wedding. these types of getaways create lasting memories, lots of laughter, and moments you’ll cherish forever.
